I also like that quote. Which is why initially when we heard that TO wanted a 2nd and a NHL ready prospect, I was thinking our 2nd and Marchenko. But that may be a bit overpayment for a rental. Not that I don't think Cody would not re-sign here, but there are a lot of teams out there willing to throw a ton of money at players! Then we would be out Marchenko. Now, if we were talking a 2nd and an offensive player, I would rest a little easier losing a Ferraro, Aubry type player for a rental. But, I think there are teams out there that could offer a bit more than that.

Franson turned down $5.5M(I believe) from TO, although I think that maybe that was just a kind way of saying he wants out! I can see him getting $6Mish somewhere. Could it be here? Stay tuned!

I still think we could move our 1st rounder for one year for something we need now and not endanger our future with all the talent we have developing. I think it would be worth the risk. Without looking over the last few pages, it is rumored that TO wants a 1st rounder for Franson. Does anyone think Holland would do it? I believe that we have enough up and coming talent that we could afford to miss one 1st round at the chance to make our team immediately better, thoughts?

I get around 7 hours Tuesday-Friday. I work two 17 our shifts on Sat/Sun and an 8 on Mon. I get about 4 hours Sat/Sun night... They were introduced in the VD, but their show "The Originals" in a million times better! Less "love story" more action! They are the Original Vampires. Klaus, Rebekah and Elijah are bad assess, Klaus is actually a hybrid Vamp/Wolf. Kol and Finn are no longer Vamps, they are witches. It's complicated.... It's my guilty pleasure, sue me! Honestly if Franson did get traded here and then signed long term, I could pretend that it was the same Franson the entire time and pretend the horrible Choice never happened. He would for sure make me forget about the other guy...

KRSmith, again, would you give up Smith for Franson? You seem to know a ton about him (and I am not disputing that at all) and you think he is better than all 6 of our starters, then why not offer up Smith to guarantee we land him?
