as a matter of fact, Wings only have one less ROW than the Wild. So, when you look at all the fanfare that came along with what the Wild were trying to do and considering the Wings were the Griffins for a big chunk of the year, ya, we're laughing way out loud!

if the Wings were still in the west, they'd be in 8th place, the second wild card position. Hmmmm, not quite out of the playoff picture if you ask me. Sheahan, Tatar, Nyquist, Jurco, Glendening, Dekeyser... Holy crap, who's of thought we'd be making the playoffs with 6 MF'ing rookies on this team? I think that Pulk's development is what made Jarnkrok tradable. Both super, super talents, but Pulk, like Dab's said, is a RH sniper which we lack. He has exemptions through next season and by time 2015 hits, he will be more than ready to step in. I just hope, if Weiss isn't traded, he doesn't mind moving to wing, because our 4 centers right now are great. Legwand, Datsyuk, Sheahan and Glenny....nice! Helm looks good on the wing as well, less pressure on him and he can concentrate on developing that scoring touch!

Holland makes some questionable moves, but in the end, even I can appreciate the moves he makes... Let's seriously hope we have seen the last of Cleary, Sammy and Bertuzzi. Please let Q and Monster walk as well. Oh and trade Kindl and waive Lashoff. Asking a lot am I? I have to ask one more time, just how genius was getting Legwand at the 11th hour on March 5? Wow, we needed him and he has given us big time timely points. We sold a bit of the future for him, but really we aren't going to miss Eaves or the (now) 2nd round pick. Jarnkrok, yes, great prospect, but look at the guys we have in Detroit now and the next couple to come up next year and the next. Future is still bright and Holland made a great move! Ya, relax, at least he doesn't take months off like Franzee... I do think when Babs mixed up the lines he screwed with the chemistry a bit, but hopefully he goes back to what was working before! Put Nyquist back on a line with Legwand, if you want to move Abby up, put him on that line, Franzee is useless anywhere, but we have to play him in case he decides to go on one of his 4 game scoring streaks before his 14 game drought. Re-unite the kids-line and plug Datsyuk in with Alfie and Franzee Nyquist - Legwand - Abdelkader Franzee - Datsyuk - Alfie Tatar - Sheahan - Jurco Helm - Glendening - Miller That's actually a really nice line up... Jeez, just looking at that lineup, what the heck is gonna happen next season when Z and Weiss are back?

Well right now we got Boston. All we need to do is to give Dats more of a break, give the likes of Helm, Legwand (Thank Goodness we picked him up!) Alfie, Kronner, Franzee (maybe he can find his lighter) the final two games off. We need to coast these last two games, remain in 8th and take Boston to 7 games. Pit would be an NHL and officiating circus and I would like to avoid that as long as possible. Hell, maybe the #7 seed (hopefully Philly falls there, that would be a great series!) can beat the crap out of them and Skidney (I love that nick name!) can cry all summer long! Boston...we went 3-1 against them and in fine fashion. I couldn't handle anymore of the NHL coddling the pens.

Does anyone know if Klesla reported to Buffalo? I seem to remember him not wanting to go there. Would this guy help out our back end for a year or two? OR is he just a prima donna?
