Hey, how many times have the Wings in the past been resting for a week waiting for an opponent then come out flat for the first couple games? Everything points in our favor here when it comes to x-factor's...sure they will be the favs, but we all know all too much, how quickly a giant falls down when overconfident. Good news is, ya we went 0-4 this year against them, BUT two games were SO loses and one was OT. We play well against Chicago and with our momentum, we will not go down without a fight...I am not going to pick a winner of the series because who knows what will happen now, all I will say is I am going with the Wings until the lose that 4th game....IF they ever lose it!

I would also like to thank Ericsson for giving me anxiety and a heart palpitation for the rest of the game! It happens I know, but argh!

Wow...bold statement. Considering he won't even play 20 years that is a lot of Cups in that time span. Considering that with the Cap decrease they only have $7M in cap space and will most definitely lose the supporting cast you speak of. Iginla, Morrow, Dupuis, Matt Cooke, Tyler Kennedy, Douglas Murray....most of them will be gone....plus they need to re-sign Malkin after next season so they cannot commit too much money for next year in that regard. I don't see Sid winning anymore than one or two more Cups in his career...IF that. He may not win ANYmore.
