It's so nice that the kids are kicking in their share! This is what Dynasties are made of! Not saying that this group of youngsters are going to be as good as our 90's youngsters, but this is how it was created back then, a bunch of kids growing together and learning together. I think that line of Andersson, Brunner and Nyquist could be a good line to keep together next season. Let these three continue to grow together. On a down note, I am not impressed with Sammy or Bertuzzi playing...they need to stop and they need to not be on this team next season... On an even DOWNER note....damn that Howard is average....

Yes, Jurco is playing in GR. Red Wings Central stills list him as unsigned, but capgeek has him signed for three years... Quine and Hudon are not showing signed at either website. I actually think that both these guys did really good this year for their respective teams. The Wings have 2 players in GR that become UFA's this July. Francis Pare and Jan Mursak. I think they should let these two guys go and sign Quine and Hudon. Pare is 25 and doesn't seem to have an NHL future, at least not here and we all know the Mursak situation. At least Quine and Hudon are very young and can still grow and get better. The only answer we'll get is none... Bettman said it best when the league rescinded the Malkin instigator. "We need our stars playing, we don't need them suspended." Weber is far more important to the NHL than Abby...without Malkin, the Pens would have gone down 3 games to nil and probably lost the series in 09. Without Weber, the Wings may have extended the series a bit longer or won it of they had gained momentum...

Forwards I want Detroit to draft: Mantha, McCarron, Rychel, Fasching, Zykov, Gauthier...not in that order, but any combo of these guys in the 1st and 2nd round. Defenders not named Jones: Poluck, Santini, Bowey...please no Haag or Ristolainen... If they could somehow land BOTH Poluck and Santini I would be happy! I know our D prospects are filling up, but these guys are the real deal and are both right handed. This could allow us to move a couple D prospects in a deal for a legit #1 guy or a Super scorer...
