Exactly...the only way you are going to limit the amount of diving in the league is to ONLY call the dive and not the other guy. Odds are if the player had to dive, then the other infraction wasn't really enough of a infraction anyhow.... Problem is, they won't do this because the certain players wouldn't be able to play in this league anymore because they would be in the box all the time....ahem....Crosby...ahem....

I sure as hell wouldn't be surprised...afterall, this forum is one of the most popular on the internet, someone famous, somewhere HAS to know about us...or, like me, knows some people here and there, or knows someone who knows someone...if they aren't lurking on here personally, you are guaranteed to have the Kevin Bacon effect...six degrees of separation... yes, yes YES! I have been saying this for a long LONG time now! Franzine would look great on the Sedin's line and could spark his career and Burrows would look wonderful in our top 6! Vancouver would eat the contract to put him with the Sedins forever.....make the deal right now! Franzine for Burrows....

No, my buddy lives on Marco Island...he is a former airline employee from here (no, not a retired old freak he had to take medical retirement due to back issues) and he fly's her down there periodically...although...he is 43 and scores 25 years olds on a regular basis...good on him!

Eliot better NOT be Mick's road replacement!!!! Dude played like a minute for the Wings and only played 89 total games in the NHL...he may be a fill in, but I could do better than he could ever! I'd rather have Bill Clement! and I cannot stand him!

Uh, nevermind....I just looked up Gaborik's salary for this and next year....$7.5M....no thanks...too much money for next year...if he were a UFA after this year, then no prob. I would still LOVE to pry Bobby Ryan out of Anaheim, but then I wake up..... Rumor has Colorado maybe moving Stastny....he is a center, but I think he would fit nicely with Dats.... ahhh, dream on, dream until you dreams come true....

You can really hear him well on the first McCarty fight...how ironic, I mention him in the Murph thread and then one of his broadcasts appears in a different thread....nice!

I can hear Holland now...we kicked the tires with Dekeyser and felt that with Cola coming back from injury, we couldn't offer Danny anything more than a #8 spot behind Kindl and Huskins... -
If a trade were to be made, I would believe it would be for a scorer...I'd be interested in Iginla or Gaborik. I know those two guys are oft talked about in trade scenarios...I'd also like Clowe or Morrow... Who could we trade Quincey back to Colorado for? I am gonna break it out again....Franzine to DAL for Morrow...that trade scenario is always good for some controversial debating! Hell throw Jagr in too!

He will sign with a team that offers him NHL minutes...according to my source (Danny D's sister) Babcock has indeed told him that he has a spot in the NHL...just hearsay though, you never know what was said...

FSD has decided to save money by not hiring anyone to be between the benches. Instead the Red Wings are just to have Franzine handle it while he floats around out there. He has a great view by the way! No need for a Color Commentator to replace Mick on the road either...Franzine mic'ed up!
