The only thing I can figure is, IF there is a White trade in the works it's because when Q comes back, they don't want to demote Lashoff to make room...as much as I dislike Kindl, I have to agree that keeping him here instead of a pending UFA makes more sense...of course there is always the Dekeyser angle as well, but I will just stick to guys we have presently... Brunner is working out well....I appreciate that we were chosen over another organization this time (unlike 2 or 3 guys last July) and it is nice that it is working out. I know it's gonna cost some bucks to re-sign him, but if he gets a 3-4 year deal and continues on this pace, that is around 40 goals a year, so he would be worth it. It's the contract AFTER he scores 40 a year for 4 years that I am worried about! YIKES! Parise who?

Strange that White is scratched...team was playing good last couple. Glad that Smith is in, but Quincey-Garbage should be the one scratched. I do agree on keeping Lashoff in though. I would even prefer Kindl over Quincey crappy ass. I think my gramma can play better than him... You guys will see him screw everything up tonight on D and Frazickle-Cell will drag down the O....oh Babs, why change things when you are flying high? Huskins has been better than both Kindl and Q....again, time to question Babs.

I would give them a 2nd and a prospect, but not our 1st. I guess if Babs wanted to reunite the Dats-Z-Brunner line and make Weiss the 2nd line center with Fil and Tatar on his wings, that would make sense, not unless Helm is going to be out for the rest of the season....yikes I do not mind the rebuild, but ya, it would waste Dats for sure! If we go into a rebuild mode, he most definitely leaves us after next year, he doesn't want to go through a rebuild at his age. Zetterberg is still here for a while, but still a waste of 3 seasons. I don't think dumping Franzine and Filppula and Quincey and Kindl means a rebuild, because we already have players in place that can replace their output....Fil would be the only one missed, but he would also bring back the most in return... Hey, if all Florida wants is a draft pick and prospect for Weiss, offer them Franzine and call it a trade!

He'll get a 1 year around $2M....why? Because Holland will tell the agent "lets see what he does over an 82 game season and then we'll talk long term..." Brunner has never played more than a 50 game season and it would be a big gamble to reward someone a large contract based on playing 48 games in the NHL...I know it's been done, and it just may happen, but I think they will agree on a raise for a year, then if he does net 40+ goals, go from there... then again, you can flip the coin and Holland may want to give him a contract for about 4 years at a modest raise of around $3M-$4M, then if Brunner does put up 40 goals or more, he has him for a nice discount....

Good luck, if not us, then I'd rather have you win it than St. Louis, Colorado or s***sburgh....but records are nothing, we have plenty, but not nearly enough Cups for all those records!
