^^^^ Agreed...I think Holland should use his Balls and make that trade...he should give Doan a nice deal AND Semin his 1 year $Whatever million to play with Dats...Ryan or Nash would negate the missed Parise signing... Doan and Semin would only make this team better...sure getting Yandel would make our D great again, but realistically all that is not gonna happen...Although Holland can afford some of it, I feel he is just gonna sit on $16M in cap space... Ya it got off on a tangent...but this guy is nutso...

Sure, Tootoo isn't Parise, he isnt Nash or Ryan, but he does change the way other teams have ot play against us....not many people liked the Drake signing either, but he did the same thing, made it harder to play against us.... If you don't like us or the Wings anymore, I feel the obligatory "Go Root For The <insert team name here> Then..." comment is warranted here...but in the end, I think everyone will be happy with Tootoo. He isnt gonna win us the Stanley Cup, but it was a pretty good pickup...

Not that he would be the end all be all, but signing Kubina would greatly improve our powerplay... Sign Doan/Kubina/Abby/Q if the award is good enough and lets roll! If Holland could pull a Nash/Ryan or Yandle/Bogosian* out of the air, I am all for that too! It is not as bad as it seems...are we upset by the snubbing of Suter? Yes, we were betting a lot on him coming here...but look, and some will argue the other way, but Sammy is an improvement on Hudler as a whole, Gus is an improvement on Conklin and J Mac, and Tootoo will bring to this team something that has been lacking for a long time! I think this team got better up front and in Goal...nobody will replace Lidstrom, not even Suter, Suter is on a level with Kronwall, all we need to do is find a stop gap to shore up our D...It's up to Holland to do it... If Holland adds Doan, we get even better up front and if he can land a #1 D, super! But little things work too... It's gonna be a challenging season, but they will compete and make the playoffs and then go from there...

Not a bitchfest, it would be fine if he came in here and said how good the Wild have gotten with these two siginings, but he comes in and says that the Wings suck and that is why they didn't come here...then when he is told the reason they signed in Min. he says its all lies, I just felt the need to prove him wrong... BTW, Justin Bieber is ugly! ( I am more of a Haley Reinhart fan!)

Uh....Doan has said he is interested in many teams....this is no more truth than any other report...he'll pick one place and the rest will be wrong, but until he signs, I am not speculating that any team has an advantage... Oh geezus! Holland if this is going to drag out, make a trade, make Detroit look that much better of a place to play! Make the Ryan or Nash trade, make the Yandle or Bogosian* trade... *not that there is a Bogosian rumor but he would be an awesome pick up!

I still would love Ryan here and then extend his contract when possible...if we got Ryan (or Nash for that matter) I would be fine with Doan for 2 years...but I still think it will be $5M+ BTW, does anyone remember if Detroit and Columbus were in the same "conference" in the proposed re-alignment? It not, then CMH would be a little more apt to trade with Detroit...

What about Bogosian? I'd trade some yoot's for him...

I understand you want Defense first, they will probably sign Kubina and Quiney and call it a day... but we are very weak up front as a whole...especially on the goal scoring side of it...

Sheesh....I dunno about Nyquist for Bouwmeester.... I am sure Nyquist is on everyones trade list...I think Tatar is just as ready as Nyquist for the NHL, I wouldn't mind seeing him in a package, but Nyquist......on the fence... Is Bouwmeester worth Nyquist? If so, I'd include Hudler's old buddy Cleary in that package...looking at Capgeek, damn thats an awful large salary of Bouwmeester's....I'd rather go for Yandle all out if I am including Nyquist...

Well it may put Chicago in a position of no cap, but it makes them better than Detroit....Detroit has $16M in cap, spending $5.5M of it on Doan will not make them weaker...it makes them better....30-40 goals better too! Also, Holland will be ditching some salary too with all the forwards...

Shane Doan's agent, Terry Bross, said not only have #Blackhawks contacted them, but also that Doan has interest in joining Hawks. BLAH!!!! Don't do it Shane!
