When the deadline comes and Franzen is yet again returning from another injury, he will be our trade deadline acquisition. Now I am hearing that the Wings are not interestef in obtaining Wisniewski's rights, and are close to re-signing Ericsson.... Come on Holland, for once do something to better this team....

I agree....what San Jose gave up for Burns, Holland could've bested with Franzen. But no, we'll keep china doll Franzen...maybe Holland did try to offer Franzen, but Minnesota doesn't want a china doll... You guys can ***** all you want about us complaining about Holland today, but with the GAPING holes in D we've had and lost with Rafalski, it seems like every team out there were making deals to make their clubs better and Holland just sat on his hands...again. FYI, Holland is not the best GM in the league. Maybe the best at managing money and circumventing the Cap, but he is not the best in player personnel...

if you read the post before you just hit neg, I said disappointed THUS FAR... He says he needs to replace Rafalski, yet when a great player is available, he balks. Holland could've offered more than the Sharks did for Burns but for some reason he won't budge on his "core." That is why most teams get better every year and the Wings don't. I am ready for July 1st, but THUS FAR, Holland spewed a bunch of crap about making deals on draft day only to trade down so he can draft Haken Pupen and Bojrn Swappin Nutt in the second round... No need to apologize. I am with you on this, Holland ALWAYS talks a big game, but never comes through. San Jose knew what was needed and they weren't afraid to trade s huge part of their offense for Burns. I would have traded Franzen for Burns...

at the negs because I said I would puke if he drafts Swede's. I guess nobody can even have an opposing opinion on who they'd like to see drafted. It's not like I said "I hate (insert nationality here)" I simply just said, in not so many words, I think the organization has enough influx of European defensemen. I would really love to see Morrow drafted instead of Jonas Brodin. Come on folks, lets remember how the negs and positives are supposed to be used. Of course when someone negs someone else, they never have the balls to admit it and explain why. Negs are not used because someone has an opposing opinion, but some kiddies just can't handle open forums... Let me put it politcally correct for you: Its my personal opinon that Joe Morrow would bring more to the future of this hockey club than Jonas Brodin would. If Holland has both of these players available at #24 and opts for Brodin, I will be very disappointed...

I agree. Holland made his offer, if Jagr doesn't like it, oh well, Holland has better plans with that $16M than to give $4M of it to Jagr. Far better players out there to offer $3M-$4M to instead of and younger than Jagr... I am ok with him being a Red Wing, but only on Holland's terms. I'd rather see most of that cash spent on the Defense...
