wow, what a dirty player he is! I see the league eventually banning hits like the Brule hit, not because its dirty, but because it meant nothing to the play. he didn't separate him from the puck or cause a turnover. As nice as the hit was, it was pretty much a meaningless hit. The league would rather have all teams play like the Red Wings and not hit, but rather lean hard on someone to try and separate the puck or cause a turnover, just watch Lidstrom's entire career. This is definitely turning into a pansy league. Sad, Sad, Sad.....

Exactly! A win is a win,and I will take 16 of these in the playoffs, but too bad it aint gonna happen that way. Watching the Wings the past month has made me so happy that Holland didn't make a deadline move I am so glad Hudler is awesome and that Franzen is the new Fedorov. Then entire defense is horrible (whether it's McCrimmon or the players I don't know) and if it weren't for three or four forwards this team would be outside the playoffs looking in. This team needs a fire lit underneath them, too bad the trade deadline came and went with nothing even resembling a smoldering ash being lit. I realize there wasn't much wiggle room, but sometimes making a huge move sets the wheel in motion. Of course, there probably weren't many teams out there wanting any of our crap... ...I will just tighten the belt one more notch and cross my fingers and hold on tight and hope for some luck in the playoffs! FINALLY !!!! Someone who understands! I am tired of the games in Dec-Feb being played at a cruise control level or players not being able to play because of a broken pinky! Great fans pay HUGE amounts of money to go watch players who make multi-millions play like they make $40,000... I went to watch the High School Hockey States between Wyandotte and Farminton last night, now those are players playing for pride! (and it only cost $5!) and it was 1000 times more enjoyable than watching the Wings blow another league and play with no heart when I got home! I actually turned off Underworld: Rise of the Lycan to watch that crappy game!

His rebounds have always been his problem, this was evident even when he was making spot appearances a few years ago. He has gotten better and hopefully he continues to improve. Besides, if it doesn't work out, it wouldn't be the first time Holland wasted $2M plus on someone that turned out to be a piece o' s***.....

Not a bad deal, considering what is out there.. ..this just in, Holland made a deal on trade deadline day, he is quoted as saying "Jimmy Howard re-signing is our deadline acquisition...."

if the right deal comes up, Holland will make it. I just don't see them doing any better this year in the playoffs over last. The defense sucks (still.) Oh well, hold on tight and hope for something good!
