the nhl is a joke. its just a giant corporation like Ford or GM or Delta. You can show them tons of ways and ways to save money all over the place, but all they say is pay cuts and layoffs. They say for everyone they get wrong, there are 900 they get right.... Don't get me wrong, I am with you, but it aint gonna change a thing. Key words right there. We don't need anymore Championship Leadership in the the room, we still have plenty of that. We need someone who is suffering from "lack of Championship HUNGER." If Modano hadn't yet won a Cup, I'd say bring him on! But if the Wings were to be looking for that one vet who it'd be someone who has won everything BUT the Cup. There is just something about those type of players that when given the golden opportunity to be on a contender, they seem to play above and beyond, perhaps knowing this could be their last chance! I'd be more apt to aquire someone like Craig Conroy or Keith Tkachuk...

Show us where he went after Stevie's Knees. If you are referring to the St. Louis series, then you are wrong, he tried to run Steve into the boards and Steve ducked causing Pronger to injures hiself. Correct me if I am wrong, but Brian Burke was the the one who said it was physics that casued the injury, not Pronger. Like it or not, Crysby is the face of the NHL, but Ovechkin is the King. You don't see Alex flopping around like Cathy Lee does, and if we're talking if I had to choose which one of Crysby or Pronger I would rather have on the Wings, it would be Pronger hands down (and elbows up!)
