will Zadina be giving up #11?
-
I've had to wash my hands three time so far!!! Sweating!!
-
i don't know why I am going to torture myself by watching this....but....ugh!
-
the lottery itself is done right? We are just waiting on the results? If so, WHERE ARE THE LEAKS!!!!!
-
if it'll help, I'm in!
-
my anxiety is a hot mess... I just know, dammit, that we aren't gonna get the #1. even though we'll get a quality player between 2 and 4, but we deserve that #1. The likes of any team 5 or below does not! If Pitt or Chicago et al... get it, then I just may have to stop watching.

has anyone else already chewed off their nails?

I bet they keep Abby and buyout Nielsen. They'll have both Rasmussen or Veleno to come up and play center.... Abby, I know makes too much, but he is a servicable bottom 6 winger. Plus, if we think back to Hossa v. Franzen, Abby is a Detroit draft pick and came up through the system, so that may give him the edge on staying over Nielsen. I do believe though, it'll one or the other no matter what. Anybody else makes no sense for a buyout. They can expose the likes of Helm, Glendening, Filppula or a re-signed Gagner to Seattle to possible lose one of those names. It would suck, but at least they are one of the teams not making the "play-in" plus they are at 2 and 3 in the order as it stands, so you really can't get too upset about that...now if Chicago or anybody else 6-15 OR a possible play-in loser like Pitt or Toronto get the #1, then we rage for sure!!! I cannot stand seeing teams jump 10-12 spots to win, there should be a max number of spots you can jump. It will be a Godsend if Detroit wins it! Oh boy, I am really hoping!!!!!

I'm still hoping for TWO compliance buyouts!
-
tomorrow IS the day we secure Lafreniere!!!

Well considering Michigan has had the lowest amount of cases since reopening the country, I say they host ALL games at LCA! They have 2 regulation size ice surfaces and there aren't gonna be fans, so lets get it done!
-
Right! Like I said, if it's Ottawa, LA or Anaheim, I can't really be that mad, but really ANY other teams that may get the #1, NO WAY!
-
honestly here is the way I look at it, even though we will get a heck-uva quality player at 4, I think if we do fall to 4, it'll just seem like a huge slap in the face because we fell as far as we could. Even if we just fell to 3, it wouldn't feel as horrible. There is only 3 other teams though I wouldn't mind us falling to in reality, Ottawa, LA, Anaheim. That's it. Nobody else deserves to jump us to #1, especially perennial tankers like NJ and Buffalo. Screw the rest of the bottom 15, they've all had their picks in the #1-#3 range over the past several years...and it's gonna stink if Montreal or pulls that upset and Pittsburgh gets the #1...I would actually puke. I'd rather a team get the and keep the #1 and we get #4 than to see Pitt, Edmonton, Chicago or Toronto get the #1.

No, but I wanted to remain positive.

10 more days until we find out if we draft Lafrienere or not!
-
Honesty, when it comes down to the playoff format and giving teams that are "IN" also the shot at #1 OA, I do think 'Parody" is a very appropriate way to describe it!
-
Honestly, I wish they would just leave the commentary out too....tired of the same repetitive/generic verbiage by Ferraro and company, I could be winning 7-0 and have a guy score his 2nd goal, every time Ferraro says "You better be looking for the hat-trick" No, Ray, it's the 3rd period, 1 minute left, it's now 8-0, hat-trick is not needed...and Snoop Dog gets on my nerves.
-
Detroit will draft no lower than 4th. So one of Lafrienere, Drysdale, Byfield, Stutzle, Rossi, Perfetti or Raymond. I think we'll be ok at #4. Lets hope it turns out this way though!
-
who is going to **** themselves if or when Yzerman pulls Hall and Krug out of his butt? Add those two to Lafrienere and I think we can say goodbye to lottery picks for awhile! Stranger things have happened!
-
Honestly, when they signed him, along with when they first signed Mike Green, they were both pretty sought after for their veteran experience, especially Daley having won 2 Cups back to back with Pittsburgh. Unfortunately, and call me wrong if you want to, but they just weren't coached very well here, and then injuries of course! I was not mad at either signing, but it just came time to go away from the old and injury prone, to the young and fresh. Godspeed Green, Daley and Ericsson!
-
It will be funny to see who jumps back on the LGW bandwagon once we get back to the playoffs...heck they might even start coming back if we are lucky enough to draft Lafrienere. Honestly, the few of us that are here still should get some badges or something for keeping this place afloat!

Lost in all the essay writing posts, Yzerman has signed 2019 2nd round pick Albert Johansson to a 3 year ELC.

No way! Purely coincidence! The spamming for sure!

this is getting out of hand! (although I do like the name RidgeHog)
