You guys really don't seem to get it. There's only so many spots for so many roles. Jarnkrok is not a checker so he's not fighting for the same spot as Glendening. The 12 most skilled forwards do not make the team.... -

In terms of value, I don't think you're considering the fact that Vanek is a pure rental while Legwand might not be. (being from Michigan and all) That's the way I'm looking at it for now. -

If Legwand re-signs for another couple seasons then it will be a very fair price. However if this is a rental and we only get him for around 20 games then it will be a joke. -
