It's not a restriction on overseas players. It's the age the player enters the Entry Level system. 18-21 3 years 22-23 2 years 24+ 1 year
-
They get two games per series exclusive. Game 1 is exclusive. 5 of the other 6 will be on FSD.

He's not a free agent. He's under contract and the Wings have said they want him back. He played well in the KHL this year, it's not like he took a year off from hockey.
-
He won't be suspended. There was no intent to injure on the play. He's not a repeat offender. There was no injury to the head (which is why it wasn't a game misconduct).

What was that game earlier this week where the exact same thing happened. The referees conferred and overturned the initial call on the ice even though there was not a conclusive replay. -
The referee clearly states that it was called a goal after conferring with the other referees and not because of the review. The ruling on the ice was a goal and there was certainly nothing on the video that could disprove that.

May was not credited with a shot and Auld was not credited with a save on this play. The play officially ended with Abdelkader's shot at 13:56 that was frozen by Auld. Was that the call? That LaRue lost sight of the puck on Abdelkader's shot and that May's shot didn't even happen? http://www.nhl.com/scores/htmlreports/20092010/PL020295.HTM

True, but I don't believe you can send an injured player to the minors. Plus, Helm is traveling to Sweden with the team. Unless they have an exception like they do with Larsson, players assigned to the minors actually have to report to their minor league team.
-
Even so, Helm and Emmerton are on short term IR and thus the Long Term Injury Exemption cannot be used on them.
