Just a feeling but i think if we make it to the SCF they will do something. They always show the opposing arenas full of fans during the SCF don't they? They may just as well show the HTC but who knows... THe SCF is something entirely different than the WCF.

Man, I was just thinking 'Holy S**t! These guys would be willing to pay that kind of jack to watch the f'n jumbotron!' I'm glad you two were joking. I had the pleasure of watching the final game of the 1998 SCF there. It was a blast! I always enjoy it.

Do you think they would seriously charge $50 or more for a ticket to the Joe for JoeVision??? I guess they would make money that way but it sure taints the whole experience to me. I would think that $15 maybe $20 would be my maximum that I'd be willing to pay for that.

Has Giguere been amazing though??? I'm not saying that he hasn't been solid but to say that he's the only reason the Ducks are 3-2 right now doesn't sit well with me at least. The Wings are the reason the Ducks are 3-2 right now. They have not capitalized on the chances they've had. Sure he's part of that but not entirely.

It seems to me that Joevision was replaced by the big screens at Hockeytown Cafe. They have been advertising the HTC for all of the playoffs. I would hope that they might bring it back for the Finals if we make it but I'm not holding my breath. I'm sure they make quite a bit more money doing the games at HTC rather than the Joe.

The only game that Giggy deserves any kudos for is game 4.

I'm on board with the Go Lang Express!!!! GO LANG!!!!! GO WINGS!!!! I BELIEVE!!!! -
I was at home taking care of my newborn son. What a great year that was! A co-worker of mine was at the game. I kept thinking that I would've loved to trade my going to game 1 of that series for the game 7 blow-out. Side note: The best part about going to game 1 was that i was offered the tickets the morning of the game and i had to drive all the way to Grand Rapids to get them. Then drive all the way back to Saginaw to pick up the wife and sister. Then drive all the way to Detroit for the game that night. Geez, that was a lot of driving. I'm glad gas wasn't $3.50 a gallon back then.

I, myself, have been watching since the 86-87 season. I may have been watching before that but I was big into baseball because of the Tigers in those years. I'm only 31 so I had my GI Joes around too. LOL!

Okay, I found this on Fark but this has to be the worst researched and written articles that I've ever seen relating to this incident. I LOLed! http://www.postchronicle.com/news/sports/a..._21281195.shtml

That's good to hear. I, myself, wanted to throw down with that goon after the hit. Great decision by the league.

The 's' sound comes from his native language. The correct pronunciation is Ko-pet-ski.
-
To all the Ducks fans who were wondering about our 'A' game. There you go. GO WINGS GO!!!!

What will satisfy me is seeing Pronger's disgust as he has to shake hands and get his golf game on once again. A suspension wouldn't hurt my feelings though.

Sitting on the back of your seats is your best bet in the last rows. I've done it a few times. It's not totally horriffic like everyone says. Hey at least you're in the Joe at a game. I've never had the displeasure of the second-to-last row though so maybe those are bad. There's really not a truly bad seat in the house IMO. Tiger Stadium on the other hand...

GO WINGS GO!!!!

If I get home tonight and see John Stewart on TV I'm seriously going to shoot somebody!

I agree that it's overpriced and overhyped too but I still try to get there every once in a while. It's nice to see the framed photos and such. I'd love to own a few but at the prices they want you have to be wealthy.

Oh I'm not giving up by any means but they're playing a huge amount of minutes to make up for the d-man that's missing. I'm sure it'll even out as we go farther into the series. No worries. Sammy's DOG penalty did have a huge affect on the guys. It was an amazing kill by the team though.
-
I'm beginning to think that the extended play by the d-man is the reason that we're looking a little tired. Quincy only played something like 4 or 5 minutes last night. It wouldn't hurt to have another d-man come back into the line-up to take up some slack. (Kronner where are you???) Maybe Schneids can throw on a cast and use it to his advantage.

Congrats! I just hope that the Spirit will dominate like that one day but with the revolving door at the coach's office I don't think it'll ever happen. Good luck to the Whale in the Memorial Cup tourney.
-
I'd say this was one of his two best games of the playoffs so far. He's getting stronger as we go farther. That's the best part about it.
-
Great hard-fought win for the guys tonight! Definitely nerve racking. GO WINGS!!!!

I don't ever think I've seen that Kings jersey. Was that worn for the whole season???

I don't like to count chickens before they're hatched but I think the Pistons are a lock to win it all this year.
