The Sens fans are showing respect to their team and thanking them for the good season. Don't be an asshat.
-
They should have lost? Please. They lost their intensity and tried sitting on leads. The Preds collapse was even worse as they didn't play smart. Yet they deserved to win? The better team won in both games today so far. Thats for sure. It wasn't like the Preds outplayed Chicago all game long or the Sens outplayed the Pens consistently in this game.
-
Lets do the math here.... Sens took the lead and then didn't play with intensity. Pens did. Pens win. Preds took the lead and then didn't play smart or intense. Chicago did on both. Chicago wins. I hope the Red Wings can bring their game tomorrow and play intense for 60 minutes.
-
Sorry, not female.
-
I'll take that bet. Whats the over/under?
-
Detroit last played like this in Game 3. Its not surprising that Detroit lost that game. The Sens and Pens are playing like this now and its no wonder the Preds lost and the Sens are on the verge of losing.
-
Damn Sens. What the hell. Just like the Preds, play like crap and try to win without intensity. It doesn't work very often. Especially in the playoffs.
-
Ottawa should find a way to win this game. Their backs are against the wall. If the Pens pull this out, then the Sens will have no one to blame but themselves. Same with the Predators pissing away that game earlier today.
-
That thing broke pretty easy. I think it was fractured previously.
-
Haha, no goal. Pittsburgh fans probably have a beef though. Malkin got knocked into the goalie.

A penalty shot is awarded to a player who is deemed to have lost a clear scoring chance on a breakaway by way of a penalty infraction by an opposing player. A breakaway, in this case, means that there are no other players between the would-be shooter and the goaltender of the defending team. There was no clear scoring chance. Awarding a penalty shot on that would be laughable. If you could see through your bias, you may understand that.

Sorry, I have to disagree. Keep the rule the way it is. Otherwise, what happens is that Toronto or the refs will keep the play going when the net comes off and call goals when they "look good". Guess we can agree to disagree. Preds deserved to win, but they blew it. Chicago will win the series now.
-
Moving slightly or off the moorings? The net can move, but the pegs have to be in. Its a clear cut rule. Why don't you just say that the net can be off the moorings and the puck can go in and count. I certainly don't want Toronto deciding goals on "I think that was going in" while the net was off. I prefer the cut and dry rule in the book.
-
Interesting rule. I would rather have the play blown dead when the net comes up instead of relying on Toronto to decide if goals should count or not if the puck goes over the line when the net comes off. Thats just my preference. It would be cool if your team got a goal from that rule, but if your team got scored on, there would be widespread riots. Penalty shot? Please. He didn't have enough of a lead on the closest defender. A 2 minute penalty was correct.
-
Well, which would you rather have? Nets that you can't remove and risk injury to players or nets that can come off their moorings? I prefer the players to have at least a little safety.
-
The terrible rule that states that the net has to be on its moorings for there to be a goal? Yea, cause we want to see goals scored when the net is off. It really adds another dimension when the net can be knocked off and goals can still be counted. Glad to hear you are unbiased.
-
That works so long as your team doesn't get burned.
-
Ding! I win the chocolate bunny. That means Ottawa PP.
-
I can replay it on my DVR and clearly see the net is off.
-
The net is off. No goal.
-
For the first time ever, we are in agreement.
-
No kidding.
-
Damn, that will upset the LGW forum members who hate Howard. Bertuzzi getting a 2nd star? Maybe he will be the LGW whipping boy.
-
Trying to give the LGW forum members a reason to blame Howard for letting in a goal.

Just like Colorado did in game 2 in 2008 when we won the cup. Remember? I can't remember what the player's name was, but he pitched the octopus in the bench to make a statement, and we swept colorado.
