Are you serious? * 1994 - Finished in 4th place * 1998 - Won silver medal * 2002 - Won bronze medal * 2006 - Finished in 4th place I think thats pretty damn good considering all the talented teams.

Heck, the mite team may have moved the puck better. When your team has scored 3 goals TOTAL in the last 3 preliminary games, and you find yourself down by 4, I think the best course of action is to goon it up. Oooh...penalty shot by Crosby....and he sucks it.

Either that or Canada is just that good. Either that or Germany plays with no chemistry. I think its a little bit of everything.

I don't think I would call it a failure yet. Its not like they are eliminated from the tournament or got outplayed by the US squad. If Canada and the US played 10 times, they would probably win 8 of the 10 times. Don't commit suicide yet. Still a lot of hockey to play. Germany is going to get their ass kicked. -

I like what I see from Team USA. They really brought a lot of energy. That being said, Canada is getting more quality chances.
