I am sitting here with a hawks fan and he is bitching about a "missed call" as often as the wings fans on this board are. If the fans were calling penalties, we would be playing 3 on 3 the whole game. -

This discussion about the Pens winning purely from the refs calls in games is just setting up Wings fans so they have a convenient excuse if they lose in the finals to them. Its crazy.

No Wings fan is happy with bipartisan broadcasting. I have heard for years how ESPN, Versus, and NBC are biased against the Wings. In that time I have learned that there is no making the Wings fans happy in this regard unless Ken and Mick are broadcasting the game.

I have to agree. Best post in this entire thread. They did turn the puck over a lot in the beginning, but their passing and hard work were awesome. Now its time to turn to game 2.

Did Hossa get by like 3 people there? I can't fault Hossa's effort.

I watch some of these plays where one player or another falls over a stick and they don't call it. I like it. Its been a very clean game overall though.
