I have to agree. The Franzen call on a lift of the stick around the hands and the goalie interference calls I disagree with, but the others are no brainer calls to me. The Wings need to pick it up in the 3rd.

So far, the way I have seen it, the Wings have committed some pretty stupid penalties. I disagree with one of the calls, but they really got to pick up the intensity.

I understand why it was goalie interference watching it in real time. If you don't at least understand it after watching it in real time, please remove your red wings glasses and watch again. Please keep in mind that understanding why it was called does not mean that you would have called it. Just that you understand it.

You do know that the goalie has a privileged area outside the crease correct? Sorry, we will have to agree to disagree. Watching it in real time, I could see how it could have been called. Darren Pang said it best after it was called. Its a sensitive issue, and that could have been called either way. I understand that.

The refs have swallowed their whistles. The only way another power play is called in this game is if someone is bleeding or dead on the ice.

Its a standard interference call. I do get what Mickey is saying though. Where is he going to go? At the same time, its a easy call.
