I have way more hope after this game and Mrazek really seems to be answering the call. If they can keep building on their efforts like tonight's, we're back to being a team capable of making a run.

I love this game so much more than the first two. Abby really does play a big role on this team at this point. refs are still ******* disgraceful though.

I just can't believe the whole thing played out like it did. If anyone had suggested that Weiss would be a healthy scratch in the regular season and playoffs when we signed him, they'd be a laughing stock. How is it that all of our free agent signings, even the ones that seem to be good ones,go so incredibly wrong lately??? More importantly, can we unload Weiss this summer? I don't get how things went so wrong, but I can't imagine that he's just useless. There's got to be a team out there that wouldn't have him sitting in the press box half the year. I'm willing to admit that he's probably done being a factor on this team, whatever the reason may be, but I just have a hard time believing Weiss is really done as a regular NHL player.

This is about the saddest of all possible outcomes for this kid. It's just unbelievable what talent the Oiler's have been able to burn through the last few years. It really doesn't seem fair at all.

I just don't think his body is up for it anymore. I don't think for a second that it's for lack of heart and effort.

But that really, really, really shouldn't be something we have to celebrate.

Glad we've got an extra day. It's nice to be even after starting on the road, but anyone seeking conciliation in that alone is grasping at straws. This team has been outplayed up and down and needs to be a hell of a lot better to stand a chance. We improved in some areas, but the amount of defensive mistakes in this game was just nuts. And for the love, little GR regular season champs: did you learn absolutely nothing last year?!?!?!? I'd be mad at Z if I believed he could help it, but I just don't think he can at this point. We can't rely on him to be an offensive force.

We have been better in a lot of ways, absolutely true. This should be more of a game. But you can't make mistakes like we're making in the playoffs, let alone so many.

I've been skeptical of Mrazek's consistency as well, but these 4 goals were nothing like the goals he gave up in earlier games.

Dats had to do the same thing earlier in his career. And he got a lot bigger one summer. And he was a lot better the next year. Nyqvist really needs to do something because he really is just way too ineffective far too often.
