Zadina is going to be lucky to be a Nyquist/Tatar level guy. Lucky. We need a decent goalie for the mid-term if we have a prayer of being a real team. Larsson ain’t our savior in the next 5 years.

I got this bar that said they’d put on games and dragged all my pseudo-hockey fan friends out and these f***ers score and I say the way things are going we’ll have two more against us in 5 minutes AND THEN!!! But Z D for the C or whoever is probably happy Flip just scored and reviving threads of old. f***.

We’ve seen this same basic team play all over the map. They’re fantastic one day and absolutely wretched the next. What we haven’t seen is even a modicum of consistency in balancing out those two extremes, and a lot of slop on the fundamentals side. I don’t know how you can’t look at the coach and question what he’s done. And when you start getting blown out consistently like we are now... I don’t think he’s been dealt the best hand at all, but as I said when he came up and I’ll say again now, “he won at every level” doesn’t really mean s*** once you’ve made the NHL. It’s a whole new world and everyone that makes it has pretty much won at every level. Not everyone lasts. I’m not saying Blash is going to be out of the league, but just as I was when he came up, I remain unconvinced that he’ll be successful at the NHL level. You’ve got to prove it first, because again, the whole “he’s won at every level” line is pert near worthless once you make it to the NHL. And Babcock is not overrated.

Oh HSJ dropping the Blash hot seat questions like she’s a serious reporter. And Mick incredulous of just how ******* embarrassing this team actually is. I admire the heart, but goodness, what’s happening here is bigger than a few adjustments. This is a bonafide disaster of a start and it’s looking like best case scenario is riding the 2019 tank all the way to the 2020 draft.

Osgood trying not to laugh at Mick’s pseudo-optimism. Can barely hold it together. It’s like he wants to say, “Mick, it’s ******* embarrassing.” Edit: do we have to have profanity bleeped in a season like this? It’s painful. We need all our angry words.

Didn’t we lose all the games by a goal last year? How many times have we had 3+ goal losses already? This is why I’m wondering if Blashill has to go. Something is way more off than it should be. This team should not be this bad.

Serious. More important than ever in a season like this, especially if you’re flying solo in a city in the south as a Wings fan...

What really strikes me is we seem to have gotten worse than we were last year. Granted Howard was playing a lot better last year which may have helped compensate, but the lack of progress from this team on whole is totally ******* embarrassing. They’re incredibly sloppy on so many levels; even the basic stuff like passing and clearing the zone when you have all day seem to be completely lost on this team. I’m officially getting drunk on whatever is cold, s*** or not.

After Mantha last year, I don’t want any guy who can kinda score fighting. But with our luck Larkin broke his hand.
