Very poor effort for a home-opener. Howard has been solid, the rest of the team has been useless. The Quincey/ Smith pairing needs to be split up, they're terrible together. Brunner doesn't hit at all, another soft euro that we don't need.

Didn't notice him much last year which is a good thing, usually when you did notice him in the past he was turning the puck over. Hopefully he can provide a solid shutdown role this year, while providing the odd offensive burst.

Wow, massive over-payment, I wouldn't give him much more than half of this ,much per year. He has a lot of potential, but in no way has earned to be payed this much. -

Ya i'm predicting the same thing. I think they might come roaring out of the gate, but then struggle in the middle and the end of the season.

I think they want a right handed shot on the left side which makes sense, but if Smith does well on the second unit, he may get a chance on the first unit.
