don't make fun of the color blind... -
IF they become a version of Tage Thompson life be good on Woodward

I think you are right. I did like when all the young guns were mixing it up with Toronto shows no fear they just need to get stronger and more experienced.

GDT 4/2/23 Wings @ Maple Leafs: The Kaspering

Can't find the article, but thought I had read this was an issue he had been having for a bit and played through. So if he did what he did in SHL with the injury can't wait to see what he can do when fully healthy. Next year is going to be bright I believe. -
"If someone does something to my teammate I will stand up for them, If they do something to me I will stand up for myself....of course I am not going to backdown" Maybe he influences Mo to be a bit nastier..as he has his back Cant wait to see him full time next year...

let the boy get time zone adjusted have a practice or 2 then play. I see him playing against the Habs for his first game with a hat trick. -
If he doesn't get hurt then he is already better.
-
So did he do good? Is he a favorite Griffin? See nothing on freep.com or detnews.com on Giffins

Say it ain't so Newsy... From this article https://www.detroitnews.com/story/sports/nhl/red-wings/2023/03/28/red-wings-sign-carter-mazur-to-entry-level-contract-assign-him-to-griffins/70056437007/ Zadina out Lalonde confirmed forward Filip Zadina could miss the rest of the regular season (nine games, after Tuesday). Zadina missed three months after suffering a lower-body injury while blocking a shot, returning to action on January 4. But, Zadina has had lingering issues lately, and missed the last eight games. In total Zadina, 23, played 30 games with three goals and four assists (seven points), in another frustrating and disappointing season for the 2018 first-round draft pick (sixth overall). "Of course, you're sensitive to it, there's pressure there and at the same time, you're not helping your body out through injury, but it's part of the process," Lalonde said of Zadina's injury-marred season. "I give him a lot of credit; he worked very hard to get back.

Even Sieder was "tough" in the SHL.

Not a big fan of Zadina but he did break a leg who knows if he might have been able to net us a 6th or 7th rounder.... So do you cut bait with him and get even less if possible? Do you put him out on waivers and hope he passes through and have him prove he wants it in GR? I don't see him as even a fringe player in the near future...I am perplexed on what to do....

Old dog chiming in ... Okay a bit confused why it's an all or nothing situation with the NHL. If players have a religious or other reason to not wear the jersey why can't the others wear the jersey? If you feel strong enough about it both sides should respect each other's opinion. People can eventually change their attitude but you can't force them to. Try to force me to do something and I am going to push back and we get nowhere other than we both are more frustrated. We had multiple pride events at work during pride month last year. I didn't require my entire team to attend the events nor could I. Some did some didn't those that didn't oh well you missed out. From this link https://recognizeapp.com/cms/articles/celebraiting-pride-month-in-the-workplace "Do not force employees to participate While Pride is about inclusion and togetherness, it’s essential to respect all team members’ feelings and beliefs. Forcing participation can be counterintuitive to the cause. Some employees may come from cultural backgrounds or carry religious beliefs that conflict with Pride. Some employees may be private and prefer to keep their home and work lives separate, and for some, love life and sexuality is personal. Forcing those employees to participate will make them feel uncomfortable, and they might even blame the *** employees of the workplace for that." I would rather the NHL donate $$ to the Trevor Project or similar. Holding a one night pride night is meh vs trying to engage on a more consistent basis. IMHO It's like telling your wife you love her only on Valentine's day vs the entire year.

If it's an ACL a roster spot just opened up for perhaps a Mr Söderblom? -
Aaah ...so both callups for at least 1 game and they both must play cause Cossa could get called up and sit the bench. By the way I believe in this Bets are debts of honor....

So this a double or nothing style bet?

So heading into the next 2 years we have the following picks 2023. 2024 2 1st unless the Islanders slip big. 2 1sts dependent on where Boston falls to in 2024 3 2nd 1 2nd, 3rd 1 3rd's 2 4th 2 4th's 1 5,6,7 1 in 5,6,7 Correct me if I am wrong but this year's draft is deeeeep. We are currently sitting 10th from bottom so have a chance @ #1(A guy can dream but we know the midget will f us over). Plus potential for the Islanders pick to be a top 20 this year. Worst case we could get 3 1sts in 2024. Could this be our 1989 draft redux ....Lids @ 53, Federov @ 74, Vald @ 221? So with a red tint on the glasses we could see Bernard BEDARD@ 1 , XX @12, XXX in 2nd, XXXX in 2nd, XXXXX in 2nd. PLUS the ones coming out of AHL trying to win a job I know I have my red tinted glasses on but I am feeling optimistic for the first time since the Ottawa debacle.

I love the drive and not give up ... I know I said I was off the hype train. But your stubborn refusal to fold in the face of odds stacked against the team. Well son it has convinced me to JOIN YOU on this fool's errand. WC 1 or 2 or BUST!!!
