As the tolerance builds then numbers go higher and he could have spaced them out a bit also. 3 beers per hour say 4 hours thats a 12 pack. Basically a beer every 20 min or so and perhaps with his depressive state he drank quicker and therefore the numbers increased.

Just thinking how I would react if I was the emergency goalie and had had to play for say the Hawks, Pens, Leafs. Could I control my internal hatred of those teams to make a save. Or the thought of hearing a Wings victory song while on ice knowing I helped be too much for me to handle and I would melt down emotionally.

Feeling a bit salty this morning so .... Are we going through a bit of rough times sure but does that mean we still aren't Hockeytown home of Howe, Lindsay, Yzerman etc? Interesting read I wonder if they reduced the equipment size like shoulder pads so when I delver the "hit" I feel it too. Might reduce some of the full on speed hits. I think the no touch icing rule has been a pretty decent change. I think Lindros is a wee bit pissed(and rightfully so) he didn't to play as much he desired. But then again when you get popped by Stevens like this your career isn't going to last long. Granted today Stevens would have been suspended for games upon games for this.
