One thing to bring up in this discussion was that Dats was the 3rd line center on an absolutely stacked team in 02. Tats was relied upon a bit more to even make the playoffs. Not saying Tats will be the god like creature Dats is but lets all pray for it. OMG you switch one letter at the front and they are interchangeable!! 2 Mil 3 yr prove it deal with some bumps for performance.

I think this hits on the head. The kids in a sense don't know any better and granted I expect a mistake or 2 to happen and PRAY to GOD Jimmie comes up big at that time similar to the last time we played and him shutting the door on the breakaway. We always have been a "pretty" team shoot from the outside in the playoffs not going to the dirty areas. This team seems to be different whether its youthful enthusiasm or not, The kids are sticking their noses into the dirty areas and I think its forcing the vets to step up their game. Win or lose this series I am excited to see what happens.

As pleasing as this sounds I think the kid line has played together beyond expectations and why fix what ain't broke. Plus last thing you want is the 2 kids on that line deferring to Dats. I prefer to see EuroTwins reunited with whoever, the kid line and after that let God(Babs) sort it out. With Z and Dats together that causes a first d pairing for the other side then Gus and crew gets less attention. Not to mention on D leave Smith with Kronner and put Big Rig with Danny D and roll the dice on the third pairing. Exciting times to be a Red Wing fan!

If he goes down to 15% or 10 % who cares ? Lets enjoy the moment and what happens in the future happens. But I think him, the kid line are gaining confidence that will go a long ways next year and the year after .....etc etc. Plus we have others in the pipeline!
