Hmmm gametime is 9:30pm so by midnight we all should be in bed happily dreaming of game 5 and a line up for handshakes. Nothing but POSTIVE energy from below the Mason Dixon Line!!!

A few things stand out.... I cant remember a game in the last 5 years where Lids has made 2 mistakes that lead to goals. Wings score on the 4 minute powerplay in the 1st wayyy different game I beleve Wings had a chance to melt but didnt like past years. Some of this I believe is the loss of #19 who they always expected to make the "play" GIve Calgary credit they took advantage when they had too.

Breathe in Breathe out We played AWFUL but are still tied this is a good thing!! Calgary is now going dang what do we have to do. Plus it gives the Wings a nice jolt to realize they have to go back to the way they were playing at the Joe Keep the faith!!

Living in Atlanta I believe it will be awhile before it really catches on. I have noticed more and more little kids wearing Thrasher jerseys than Braves which is HUGE down here. I personally was born a Wings fan and will die a Wings fan. I have been to Philips a couple times other than Wings games to see Washington, Ptitsburgh etc....

No prediction of score got a feeling about this years team they seem to be making thieir own breaks SIXTY minutes of INTENSITY not 59 min 59 secs but the full SIXTY and we will be sitting pretty good As a sidenote I will be wearing the same shirt(Grumpy baseball shirt) that has seen 2 wins already. I apologize to the board as I went running during the second period Sunday and allowed the Falmes to score as they have scored each time I have left the media room to do something. I promise not to leave my post tongiht.

This will be in the minority opinion but I am wondering how much can Bert bring tomorrow. No disrespect but he has been basically sitting for a week and just got cleared. Would it be advantagous to sit him Sunday and bring him in on Tues couple of extra days of caution? Just a thought

I feel a Z goal to win it. Really would like to see Huds score as he always seems like a kid at Christmas when he gets one. Will admit will be holding breath the first tme they run at Z. But i figure there was a Karmic reason he had the locker next to Stevie . I am guessing it was to absorb the "vibe" to play through pain for occasions such as this.

Detroit wins game 5 to be up 3-2 do you sit Dom? and roll the dice and ask Ozzie to finish the series? Fresh goalie proven playoff performer vs tired Kipper Obviously if you are down 3-2 you take the chance on Dom as there is no tomorrow. Just curious what folks think.

I think they are just giving him a rest. I thought a bit back teams were getting in trouble resting their stars the last week of the season. So the league was watching who was a healthy scratch, So Sir Nick gets the mysterioius lower back strain whiich sits him out for a few games and lets him get ready. At least thats what the voices in my head are telling me cause if he is hurt for real.............YIKES!!!

I think Crisp the color commentator is a bit crisp.....Man he drives me nuts!! and who is the guy wearing number 20? Did Lang get traded after the deadline? Cause 20 is playing a decent game as of right now.

Mario didnt collapse on the bench during a game and need to be defibbed. I hope with all my heart that they figure out whats wrong. Thank god he was lucky that he came back when defibbed. Remember that young swimmer had the same thing happen the same day(?) and she didn't make it and she was 15! He is 25 years old and whether he plays hockey or not isn't the issue. He needs to be able to live and be an old gray haired man without the worry that he could be going up stairs or sitting in front of the TV and oops end of the road. I have no doubt if they can fix it and he can play WITHOUT ANY ISSUE they will if not then there are other avenues for him perhaps scouting, asst coaching in the minors etc. But none of those options are available should he have another massive attack. Does it suck for him and us who enjoy watching the Wings heck yes but what would be worse is the Wings wearing little black patches with a number 2 on them.
