To summarize Regular season is 82 games to ALLOW you to come to the dance. Then its a new season. Then everytime you win a round its time to get a new dance partner. A few things stand out.... I cant remember a game in the last 5 years where Lids has made 2 mistakes that lead to goals. Wings score on the 4 minute powerplay in the 1st wayyy different game I beleve Wings had a chance to melt but didnt like past years. Some of this I believe is the loss of #19 who they always expected to make the "play" GIve Calgary credit they took advantage when they had too.

Breathe in Breathe out We played AWFUL but are still tied this is a good thing!! Calgary is now going dang what do we have to do. Plus it gives the Wings a nice jolt to realize they have to go back to the way they were playing at the Joe Keep the faith!!

Living in Atlanta I believe it will be awhile before it really catches on. I have noticed more and more little kids wearing Thrasher jerseys than Braves which is HUGE down here. I personally was born a Wings fan and will die a Wings fan. I have been to Philips a couple times other than Wings games to see Washington, Ptitsburgh etc....

This will be in the minority opinion but I am wondering how much can Bert bring tomorrow. No disrespect but he has been basically sitting for a week and just got cleared. Would it be advantagous to sit him Sunday and bring him in on Tues couple of extra days of caution? Just a thought

I think they are just giving him a rest. I thought a bit back teams were getting in trouble resting their stars the last week of the season. So the league was watching who was a healthy scratch, So Sir Nick gets the mysterioius lower back strain whiich sits him out for a few games and lets him get ready. At least thats what the voices in my head are telling me cause if he is hurt for real.............YIKES!!!
