I think Emmett Finnie is a guy to watch... I think he could develop into a 2nd/3rd line scorer.

Hey it's a reclamation project... Kubalik was an important trade chip in the Dcat trade... This would be a low risk high reward play.

Yea I've lost all faith in this front office. Other teams do creative things to get better. We trade a 4/5 defenceman with a 2nd round pick for "future considerations" because we're stuck in 1980s hockey guy logic. -

But do we have any reason to believe our front office will make anything resembling a bold move? I'm just so beaten down by the last few off-seasons I think we'll resign Petry add some washed vets for too much money and term then call it a day. -
Plus we're in division so there's an added premium just to get started.

Pure garbage time mirage... all they've accomplished is f%&ing our draft position even more. I hate this team so much. -
The 4nations derailed both Larkin and Raymond... be it injuries, sulking, fatigue, whatever the were no the same afterwards. I'm not sure if any other players in that tournament fell off as hard as they did. I agree unless we can add a legit player like Marner or Ehlers... it's time to trade Larkin. We also need to change our management philosophy it's an absolute joke that Cossa and a couple more kids aren't up these last 4/5 games to get a taste of the NHL.

Our mistake was letting Jim Nill walk. Stevie is too conservative... we've missed out because of it. When we had lots of cap he failed to weaponize it first picks. That just the obvious.

I know offersheets are likely too bold for Yzerman but I would definitely be in there for Hughes or Dobson. That would free up D prospects for trade.
