I hope not... Canada needs one decent goalie... it's pretty sad up here.
-
This will be fascinating to see play out... trading the pick, trading up/down, or making a selection at 15 are all in play I think. This could be a really exciting off-season.
-
I agree and that's a problem... we have enough of that type, we need some pure skill guys. We have the 200ft guys that can allow a skilled guy to flourish. I think 15, Berggren and one of Fabbri, Holl, Matta, Chairot (whichever they want) since they need we need to move cap out.

I'd really like to add Zegras. I think pairing him with Copp or Compher as one of his wingers would mitigate his defensive lapses. The other winger is TBD. I know he's not an "Yzerman type" but we need some high end skill on this team not just 2-way 35 point middle 6'ers.

What's a trade for Necas look like? Our 1st + Wallinder? Or. A 2nd and Berggren? -
Raymond at 6.5 would be a 3-4 year contract I reckon. Can't see him taking 8 at that number.

Apparently, it's "so back". Raymond at 6.5 would be a 3-4 year contract I reckon. Can't see him taking 8 at that number.

You're aggressively obnoxious... and still wrong.
-
Glad you're happy being wrong.
-
Which begs the question if those dumpster fires all have any form of no move why did our GM do such a thing.
-
It's a YES from me DAWG.

I think we add picks to keep retained salary down. I think the Sharks would jump at Copp 25% retained for a 2nd in 2026 and a 3rd in 2025. They need NHL bodies that suck for about that long to insulate their kids and draft high.

He's Bedards 1st cousin, it'll be rigged again for Chicago in '26. So they'll pick another favorite or do a legit lotto this year.
-
When we sign mediocre players to too much money and term 'cause Michigan'... I sure do find that problematic.
-
This is partly our problem, collecting players with Michigan ties and paying a premium for the privilege of their mediocrity.
-
Change that the Canadian and you be making viable point.
-
Husso won't go because he's un-tradeable. I'm sure they'd love to move on and upgrade but that will be hard given his terrible play and cap hit.
-
Jesus, gaslighting much? Simmer down bro.
-
They should be the "sister wives".
-
They are terrible. I'd rather have a couple of rookies making no more mistakes than those 2 jokers... atleast they'd have potential.
-
When Yzerman spoke yesterday I'm not sure why nobody pressed him on the blackholes on defense (Holl, Petry, and Chiarot) that collect over 10 million.
-
Someone posted yesterday that ALL of our prospects should look to Raymond's improved play and ask for his workout routine. They need to add strength!

Unless some absolute no brainer player is available. We should be going ultra aggressive on top end talent via trade. We've seen the results of signing "mid" UFAs, it's purgatory... too bad to be good, too good to be bad. Time to nut up and take some big swings.
