    I think it's a talent problem and a psychological complex, and the two kind of compound each other. If you hold a lead in the 3rd, the other team's going to push, which means more ice time for their best players, which means...bad things.

    It's kinda nice seeing him a little more energized and animated. It's almost like a weight's been lifted off his shoulders. I've noticed it every time I've seen him talk this season.

    Hoo boy that was some ugly defense on that sequence. Pretty sure I saw three Wings skating arm-in-arm and trying to converge on one Canuck. End of 1st. Wings trail 0-1. The tank is intact, for now...

    I mean, I'm not gonna go out of my way to defend Bernier. But even the slightest touch can be the difference between a clean save and a goal. Maybe it was a bad goal to give up, but I'll give Bernier the benefit of the doubt on this one and assume the tip was the difference. That's certainly part of it. Kinda funny seeing the team try to work the one-timer into their attack lately. You can tell it doesn't come naturally to anyone except maybe AA.
