And he gets to puff his chest a bit while doing it. I'm not saying there isn't a plan. Of course there's a plan. I'm just saying it's probably more or less what you'd expect it to be, i.e. no real surprises, no aces up the sleeve. And yet...maybe he's being completely straight. Maybe it's not just talk. Like, "I won't go into detail about that, but we may have to go outside the box and do things that normally aren't done in order to push us up the standings and to get more competitive," is more or less how I would say, "We're looking at everything, including offer sheets and trading our first pick in the upcoming draft," if I wanted to say it without getting into any specifics.
