My tournament takeaways: Zadina was one of our better players. Sadly, he also checked off pretty much all of the "Signs Zadina Isn't Quite Ready for Primetime" boxes. The fact that he got drive-by'd multiple times over the course of the tournament is probably reason enough to hold him back. But we'll see how he does in camp. Veleno and Cholowski had themselves a tournament. [Mike Emrick]Myyy goodness![/Doc] Veleno is every bit the player Larkin was at his age. Change my mind. Seems like Cholowski spent the entire summer in an intense Rocky training montage, or maybe the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Should he make the Wings out of camp? Ask me again in a few weeks. John Shannon seems to agree: I buy it. As for how the Wings do or don't fit into all of this...I'm going to assume this isn't Wings-related. At the same time, though, doesn't this basically preclude him from taking a GM job anywhere except, perhaps, in Detroit?
