It's a shame that we haven't gotten more points out of what's been a pretty soft early-season schedule. This homestand is presenting us with a golden opportunity to distance ourselves from most of the Atlantic and establish a firm grip on the third spot in the division. Boston, Ottawa, Montreal, Florida have all struggled; there's no clear third-best Atlantic team, the position is up for grabs. Needed to string some wins together over this past week and we couldn't get it done. Disappointing. Beat the Devils and build on that. Knock the rest of this homestand out of the park.
