I'd just figured the gaps would be wider. Tampa's spent the past two weeks doing nothing but winning and we've spent the past two weeks doing nothing but losing, and they've handed us two regulation losses. Toronto's a bit less surprising because they're an imperfect team, but, still, I'd assumed there'd be more space between us after this 1-5-1 stretch of ours.

Somehow we're only eight points behind Tampa and three points behind Toronto. Tampa's played the same number of games, Toronto's played one fewer.

I think it's safe to say they're a house of cards. (Pun intended.) But I've always loved the idea of an NHL team in Vegas and I really want it to work, so I'm more than ok with them jumping out of the gate like they have. They're the only team in the NHL that I don't have a reason to dislike. That'll change soon enough, but I'm enjoying it while it lasts. Wings-Knights 2018 SCF. I'm telling you guys.

I didn't get why everyone was taking him so literally. To me, he pretty clearly meant that those lines would be the standard "default state" lines, not that there would be absolutely no in-game juggling.
