Nothing to worry about? Bit of a stretch, don't you think? Two games in hand doesn't guarantee anything, and they'd won four in a row before tonight. I mean, I get what you're saying. But we need all the teams around us to lose as much as we need to win.

To be fair, he was pretty solid tonight. Like he is most nights. It's just, for whatever reasons, he's good for at least one bad goal against a game. And it's maddening. But with a better team in front of him, he'd look a lot better. I don't like hating on Howard. I've been doing it lately and it feels wrong. Our skaters are such a mess that it should never be him getting all the blame. Our defense..my God, our defense....

I just. I'm not even celebrating. It hasn't even sunk in yet. I know it's just a regular season game and s*** and the Pens don't care, but that is an instant classic Red Wings moment. That whole kill, really. Hell, the whole game. Daniel effing Alfredsson and Gustav effing Nyquist. And our effing PKers.

Odd-man rush with, like, five seconds left. I think it was a 3-on-1, but maybe 3-on-2. Anyway Alfie took a shot, Nyquist came barreling in as the trailing crasher and I think he pushed Scuderi who in turn pushed the rebound into the net. With 0.4 seconds left.
