    I generally like Prust. Was bummed when he signed with the Habs and not here. But it was a pretty stupid comment, on several levels. One of them being, "HEY. LOOK AT ME. I DON'T CARE AT ALL. LOOK HOW MUCH I DON'T CARE."

    whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy It really is amazing how they can turn on a dime like that. All the confidence in the world --> none whatsoever. You could actually feel their fear through the TV at 4-3. And people wonder why the fanbase is so bi-polar.

    So, two games. Not sure I aree with Shanny's assertion that the pass is completely irrelevant. Hockey Play is a continuum; A bleeds into B bleeds into C bleeds into D etc.

    I don't see Babs going with Lashoff, especially given the fact that he - at least publicly - is laying last night's meltdown squarely on the collective shoulders of our young, inexperienced guys. It's tempting to call Lashoff the safe option, because he plays a pretty "quiet" game. But there's a reason he's been sitting. (But, if it were up to me, I'd probably go with him.)

    - For some reason I feel like White played for the Ducks. - I wouldn't mind Lashoff, though he's limited in terms of what he can bring to the fold (PK, PP, etc.) Though I guess you could say the same thing about the other two. - meh. This really, really sucks. - It's gonna be White or Colaiacovo. And that's ok. I guess.

    Pretty much. We wanted a split. And, which game would you rather take? The first one, or the one that might give you some serious momentum going back to the Joe for the next two games? Boudreau seemed really down. I'm hoping that third period rush actually backfires on them.

    I said it in the GDT earlier tonight: Nyquist is hungry. Tears up the AHL, then struggles to light the lamp on The BIg Stage. Can't imagine it's been sitting well with him - which makes this goal that much sweeter.
