I don't see Tallon letting Kulikov get away. Too valuable to that franchise, IMO. But, should things not work out...I'd stuff my face with crow if Holland somehow got ahold of him and/or Volchenkov.

Tootoo will provide both. The guy's been a Predator his whole career. Suppose he spent his career thus far in Detroit. Do you think he'd have the same reputation? Odds are (I say) he wouldn't. But then, you think Emmerton's the Second Coming, so...I dunno. As for Redden - Will Holland sign him? Probably not. I don't think it's totally outside the realm of possibility, though. Would't surprise me, tbh.

I wasn't happy when I first heard Sammy would essentially be taking Nyquist's spot. But, if you think about it...Zetterberg, Datsuk, Brunner, Nyquist, Filppula...kinda samey, no?

If we're just talking about last season, then maybe I can see it. But overall? Stuart was great for us. Colaiacovo misses about 90 games a season, and, when healthy, he wasn't exactly a top-4 fixture on the Blues' back-end. I'm expecting good things from him, don't get me wrong. I guess I'm looking more in Quincey's direction, re: filling Stuart's void.
