Defenders of Franzen, We appreciate what you're doing, sticking up for a Red Wing and all. But Franzen is lazy. And he sucks.
-
Does anyone recall him telling a reporter something to the effect of "Your questions are annoying, as usual"? This would've been roundabout the middle of the Preds series. Or am I just full-o-s***e? No...I think it was an article...and someone said Franzen plays his best hockey when he's angry....

The Wall Street Red Wings.

All even!

4-on-3! EDIT: Panthers pull within 1! 2-1 now.

Boston's not exactly known for its brotherly love. (Unless we're only talking Irish Catholics + Irish Catholics. In which case Boston is the real City of Brotherly Love.)

Faceoffs - 21/30 FLA EDIT: 2-0 now. EDIT 2: Almost made it 3-0 a moment ago. Overall, he looks great - as per usual. Can't stress enough how much we need this guy.

Weber. (Though it pains me to say so.)

MAF, aka Flower Power. He singlehandedly decimated the odds-on Cup Champs.

Yes, yes I can. Unfortunately, there's no way in hell it's happening. Parise and Doan, maybe. But Perry's probably out of the question. Which is a crying shame, because he'd be absolutely perfect. Size, tenacity, scoring touch.... I'd settle for Parise and Prust.

How about Howard with Weber and Suter in front of him?
-
Every time I see him on the ice I'm worried he's going to end someone's career in a violent, indescribably idiotic way. I don't know why exactly. (Well, I guess I kinda do.) Also, that Holtby-Peverley sequence is one of the greatest things ever. Also #2: Good for the Caps. Also #3: Re: the racist s*** - It's Boston; it's expected.

Are we the only team in the league with a "shoot-out specialist"?

Report: Luongo officially requests trade out of Vancouver
Dabura replied to edicius's topic in General
He wants out. He hasn't said it, at least not publicly, but the guy wants out. -
Cleary's not going anywhere either, and, unless we somehow sign several real good forwards (including Parise), he won't be playing on the fourth line.
-
Staal was really good for the Pens against Philly. He was professional, hard-working. He did his job, didn't get sucked into the bulls***. Point being, no way do the Pens move him. (But then, I think the Wings could land Perry. So what do I know?) [grainofsalt]I'm hearing whispers re: the captaincy. Specifically, that Crosby may try to redeem himself, or whatever, by giving the C to someone else - and not one of his alternates....[/grainofsalt]

Well, if it does come to fruition, I'll try not to disappoint!
-
Won't be traded; he fought Weber. I see him on the third line with Helm and Cleary.

You missed the point. Nick's gotten old, and he's not getting any younger. As one gets older, one becomes more prone and/or susceptible to injury. There's wear and tear, a certain degree of deterioration. Even something as simple as a deep bone bruise can prove more problematic when you're "old." Blah blah blah. No one's saying, "Hey, that deep bone bruise in his ankle? That's definitely the end for Nick."
