I don't really understand the point in defending Crosby against complaints. I mean, what's the argument? "No, you're wrong! You DO like him!"? I dunno. People can say the Crosby bashing is baseless and inane. But I think the very fact that there's so much negativity directed towards this guy means something and isn't just down to people being bitchy. Sure, you can pick apart an anti-Crosby tirade here and there, but I think that's missing the forest for the trees.

Don't get me wrong, so would I. It definitely makes me uneasy. But I guess as long as the goals keep coming, I'm not worried. The Wings obviously have the 'hawks' D solved. Should they advance, I don't see the Pens' or 'canes' D being significantly more difficult to overcome.

I like this. Through the first two games the Wings really haven't been able to get under the 'hawks skin -- beyond the scoreboard, of course. And he should help our sorry excuse for a PK.
