7-0. 2002. By far one of the best games I've ever seen. Would love nothing more than for Thursday's game to recall that one.

I said it the GDT, but I...kind of want Kronwall gone. Which is weird, because I'm generally not one to single out a player like that. But man oh man has this guy been killing me all season long.

I made a comment in the GDT about the top 6 disappearing. But you know, now that I really think about it, it's pretty much down to Datsyuk and Holmstrom. And maybe Flip if you want to include him. Hank's been producing. Mule's been Mule. I've been disappointed with Hossa, but he's got a couple of goals in this series. You'd think that'd be enough to get us through. I think the reason it's not (arguably) is because of the role Datsyuk's carved out for himself -- specifically, as a guy that makes things happen, makes the people around him better. As we're seeing, when he struggles, everyone around feels the effects. No one more than Homer.

Put Sid and Ovie in the WC and demand that they play defensively responsible games. See how they do. IMO, the real beast this postseason is Getzlaf. The guy is pure win.

I don't think laying everything on the lines has to entail blowing up the lines. The Wings played five minutes of hockey tonight and only lost by one goal. That should tell you something (namely, the Wings just need to put in a complete 60 minute effort).
