In some cases, yes. But not this one. People aren't ripping on Joe because of just these two games; the guy's continuing a multi-season trend.

Osgood looks good because he's playing damn good hockey. The D is helping the cause, naturally, but his individual effort thus far has been fantastic. -

But like eva said, Ozzie's been our best player through the first two games. So again, for this Jackets fan to come out and call him the weakest link right now is, while perhaps technically true, basically really stupid. -

Thing is, it's a stupid point to make right now. Yeah, if the Wings have a potential weakness, most would probably agree that it's Ozzie. But he (as in the man himself, not just the team in front of him) is coming off owning the Jackets in back-to-back games. He's been very sharp from a technical standpoint, he's made the big saves -- and bottom line: he's held the opposition to just one goal across 120 minutes. That's complete ownage, "weakest link" or not. -

I hear ya. The thing with the Sharks is they have potential, and if they get firing on all cylinders they could really take it to the Wings -- and not just physically (as in the Ducks). But with the way this series is going...

My fear is that winning this series would light a fire under the Sharks' collective ass. The Ducks, I think they're just happy to be in the playoffs.
