The only thing he seems to be lacking now is a killer instinct. As a goal-scorer, I mean. If he gets that, watch out.

I think the highlight of the broadcast was "....when he led the Wings to the Cup in 2003."

I don't know why Wings fans are debasing the two goals. This is one of the key elements we were missing when we faced the Ducks back in 2003: The ability to get unconventional garbage goals. And it's not like they weren't scored on deliberate attempts to put the puck in. I mean, Nick shot it high because he wanted a high deflection, and that's essentially what he got.

I normally don't mind Versus' coverage, but seriously, someone needs to give Engblom a swift kick to the face. I couldn't believe the way he shamelessly praised the Ducks' dirty play. Tremendously biased, terribly classless.
