  2. I told you guys Helm needs to be on the top line.

  7. I'ma be honest with y'all, everyone is playing like ass.
  8. Flames take the lead on a harmless shot. Groan.
  9. Because we can't have nice things. Game on! We need to be better about getting to rebounds in the slot in the o-zone. Demko was spitting rebounds all game long and we didn't make him pay. Hopefully we're hungrier tonight.
  10. siiiiiigh. This is good tho:
  11. If they end up losing Hall for nothing, the rebuild basically resets to Year 1. I mean, Hischier and Hughes are great building blocks, but, uh, if Shero's goal was to get his team to at least the second round of the 2020 playoffs (and convince Hall to stay), early returns are...not exactly promising. Then again, "The Blues were in last place" etc. etc. etc. Seems like there's a crying need for a goalie there. Perhaps we could interest them in Howard/Bernier.
  12. How 'bout those Devils? Oof!
  13. Would be real nice to get a win here tonight. We're in Edmonton tomorrow and it's fair to assume the Oilers are going to buttslam us, because of course. I am not looking forward to the Mike Smith shutout and Tomas Jurco hat trick. The good news is we're still holding on to a wild card spot (albeit very tenuously): https://www.nhl.com/standings/2019/wildcard
  14. Alright, Bernie, time for you to score. Since no one else is up to the task. Holy s*** was that Green who just iced the puck? Sister Mary Joseph, I have never seen such a hardcore pro-tank player in my life.
  15. Extended 5-on-3 incoming. Let's see what these Wings are made of.
  16. OK, we're shooting the puck now. Baby steps.
