I have Zubov as one of my key defensemen. Last night he has 4 assists against Colorado and the Stars win 6-1. To my understanding, he was on the ice for 4 goals so the most he could be is a +4 for the game. Colorado scores 1 goal so if Zubov was on the ice at the time, he would fall to a +3. The box score for the game puts him at +2. How can this be? I thought +/- is based on the time you are actually on the ice.

I think you're reading the chart wrong. There is no team listed before his name.

I agree, Sammy drives me nuts. I hate him on the point on the PP. Hudler needs to be on the ice and he should replace Sam, not Lang. Lang did look minutely better last night than in game 3. Both Sammy and Hudler know how to shoot, the difference is that Huds knows when to shoot. Back on topic...take this for what it's worth. A friend of a friend of a friend works for the Wings. According to him he has to help Z get in and out of his car. There is no way Z is near 100% and that would account for his play. Remember that Babcock said that Dats could barely walk during last year's playoffs?

Good article. This alway ticks me off when I pay good money to go to a game... LMAO! Way to defend yourself. I too am sick of this attitude and I'll admit that I used to have a bit of it...until I lived in the South. There are those who live, lived and will live in the south who love hockey and are knowledgeable about the best sport on earth. They are also committed to making youth hockey work there too. If all these jacka$$es who bash the south lived there, they would want it to work too...that is if they are true hockey fans.

I Think it was either the '99 or '00 playoffs when ESPN's anouncer feed went out for about 5-10 minutes. All you could hear was the crowd and the mics on the rink. It was very refreshing. And it goes without saying that not having to listen to Thorne & Clement was nice too.

Now they can trade him after the start of next season...never mind.

I agree. I just don't know how much he fights but I think he does if he has to. He's listed at 6'-3", 243 lbs.
