Nope, I saw it. While I agree drastic measures are necessary, I don't think we need to encourage anyone to fight around here. First, we fight enough without egging on. Second, we should be channeling our fight to the team on the ice. They need it apparently.

I keep missing the initial trip so I can't comment, but the hit from behind looks intentional. Not a horrible hit, but certainly one that should be given some attention by the team. Unnecessary hit when someone is already on their knees on the ice is kinda cheap IMO.

I agree. It may not be the retribution everyone is looking for, but I think some solid hits are coming. But like everyone here used to say when the Wings were winning, make them pay on the scoreboard.

Since when do you need to answer the bell for a good hit? This really frustrates the hell out of me. Maybe you open yourself up to get a good hard check, but fighting? That's what's bush league.

I've been trying to track down the exact date, but all I know is LGW is 20 years old this year, so it will be a 10-month long party. Well, since I am 3 days late and would have been later than that were it not for TheXym reminding me it was the 4th and not the 9th, we have 2 new silver boosters - say congrats to TheXym and derblaueClaus! Donation has been made, we just need to wait for Matt to have time to change your status. The others that have submitted for consideration have been entered into another drawing for a nifty little Wings swag that I have in mind, but don't have in my possession right now. As soon as I do, I'll draw names again, and hopefully two won't stick together! This is getting expensive!

Guess what? Trade deadline is past. Holland can't and won't be making any moves until summer, if at all. So why don't we talk about what the issues are and how Blashill can address them with what he has. This is our team, like it or not. Watch or don't. Cheer or don't. Vent afterwards, but we certainly don't need another Holland-bashing thread.

Worst. Experience. Ever. At Joe Louis anyway. There are not enough walls for me to bang my head on. I have nothing good to say about the game whatsoever outside of Pete had some good saves. The only ones that actually showed up were the fans. Speaking of fans, the Joe was lousy with Hawks fans. Met some really cool ones, but had the douchy ones in my section. Some Wings fans looked to maybe challenge for the unclassy crown, but the Hawks pulled out that win as well. The only good thing about going to the game was that I didn't have to listen to NBC. Other than that, is was a major off night for our boys. I lost count of how many pucks were "passed" to literally no one. In the first period and a half, the passes that connected were made to Chicago. No backchecking, no forechecking. Hell, no defense for that matter. Supposedly we had 10 hits in the first, but I only saw two, and those barely passed for hits. I picked the wrong game to be designated driver.

I will be representing at the Joe tonight. Cross your fingers. All pregame rituals have been observed or are pending but on deck for the appropriate time. I have faith.
