Yeah and one of the rumours involved Komisarek.
-
Thanks for this B52, this guy sounds great and it will be interesting to see how he develops. Just think, if both Oslund and Matthias reach their full potential both skill wise and Physically we could have two guys on the same line that are fast, physical and both of them are over 6'3" and 220 pounds.
-
Deal, i know alot of Rangers fans were gutted when Garth Murray was traded. I could see Montreal going for that. They are the type of players Holland should be looking at but i wish he would give us some indication of what he is doing.
-
LMFAO!!! Thats probably one of Eklunds sources.
-
Lou if that deal happens, i will be seriously freaked out. You wouldn't happen to have a crystal ball would you?
-
You have only been doing this for a week now Lou and you are already more reliable than Eklund.
-
You should start your own rumour site Lou.
-
Thanks for the info Systemfel, he could be a good pick. Definately Barnesy, he is a vicious hitter aswell as a very solid d-man.
-
I did a little research on Foligno and he would be a good pick, he is a very in your face player and constantly yaps. He hits hard aswell and is not afraid to drive the net even after the whistle.
-
No Barnesy i can't say that i am. Does he intrigue you? Can you give me any info on this guy Jonas Ahnelov, D, Vastra Frolunda (Sweden) -- 6-3, 205 L.
-
I would go for Nick Foligno purely for the fact that there is not one prospect like him in the Wings organisation. Jesse Joensuu could be a Evan McGrath type pick. Stock fell considerably but has great potential. Did you see this guy Simon Danis-Pepin, he's huge. I wouldn't mind either of the two or even one of these: Carl Sneep, D, Brainerd (USHSW) -- 6-4, 210 R Jonas Ahnelov, D, Vastra Frolunda (Sweden) -- 6-3, 205 L Chris Summers, D/F, USNTDP (NAHL) -- 6-2, 180 L Ryan Flynn, RW, USNTDP (NAHL) -- 6-3, 212 R Mike Weber, D, Windsor (OHL) -- 6-2, 199 L (my type of D-man)

Don't re-sign Cleary and that would make some room.
-
I would take him, he has great size, a tremendous work ethic and he would definately fit in here, especially since he is from Detroit. How much money is he looking for?
-
I have the same feeling about that. Thats why i would rather Holland left Loungo alone and went with the cheaper option of Biron and then used the extra cash to put a couple of big D men in front of him. I heard he is asking in the region of $5-7 million, way over what i think he is actaully worth.
-
Yeah same here, he doesn't play anywhere near as physical now as he did then, right now he isn't worth his asking price IMO.
-
He has the mean streak of a Witt type player but he also has great mobility for a big defenseman which allows him to join the rush and chip in offensively. If i was to choose a player that he has the potential to be i would say he could be a more defensively sound Jovo. He should be with the Ducks full time next season so it will be interesting to see if he can take his game to the next level, he is an intriguing prospect indeed.
-
I've been wanting Salei on the Wings for a while now, i can definately see Holland going for him. I would love to get O'brian, he had a huge year in the Ahl and he is definately going to be a good player in the Nhl.
-
Agreed, he has an excellent attitude. I hope he reaches his full potential. Thats a pitty about Jamtin, i liked his style.
-
Yeah, it's Rinne(sp) that has been keeping the Ads in the game long enough for them to score a couple of goals and get the win, like you said the Griffs need to get the first win and they should be fine.
-
The Griffs need to shoot the puck on the pp, i don't know why they are afraid to shoot. They are passing the puck far too much and they need someone to step up and fire the puck so that the other guys can look for the rebounds, they have guys driving the net and setting up in front but it does no good if the point men don't shoot the puck. I have every confidence that the Griffs can pull this one out of the bag, they just need a coouple of goals to go in and they will be fine. Rinne(sp) has won the Ads the first 2 games.
-
Here's a couple of highlights guys. It's the Griffins 1st goal by Matt Ellis, the tying goal by Filppula and Bootlands game winner. http://rapidshare.de/files/20679745/Griffi...lights.wmv.html
-
Now thats how you win a series, the character and the heart of that Griffins team is incredible. What can you say about the Hudler-filppula-Bootland line, they combined for 11 points tonight, Hudler had 5 assists, Filppula had 2 goals and Bootland had 1 goal and 3 assists.
-
I would do that trade, that gives us more cap space while addressing the speed issue. The Wings were rumoured to be trying to get Komisarek near the deadline so maybe a couple more guys will be involved. I would personally like to get Rivet for the blueline.
-
I watched him play against the Griffs earlier this season, he hit everything in sight that game until Bootland tried to take out his knee with an open ice hit. They dropped the gloves and Bootland won. He isn't great at the fighting side but like you guys have said he hits everything and he hits it hard. It would be great to have someone on the Wings with his size that actually uses it. I would be all for this move.
