What was the reason Florida couldn't retain him? Money? Well if that is the case they signed old man Kuba (36) to 4 million per year. Garrison is only 27 and got .6 million more. Seems like an odd choice. Granted he could be a "one hit wonder" but what does Florida have to lose? -

Carolina was one of the teams listed.... I highly doubt thats true. I don't see him going to the Canes. Nor do I see him signing in Minnesota, home town state or not. He wants to WIN. So I just don't see much truth to that. We shall see tomorrow!

Not a big fan of the guy. Unless Homer is for sure retiring and he's taking his spot then I guess its ALRIGHT, but if this is any indication of not getting a big name forward then I am one sad, angry, and depressed man. I just think Sammy is all over the place. Holland just lovesssssssss bringing players back that didn't really do anything spectacular the first go around. Long as we get Suter and hopefully Parise , or trade for Ryan or something it wont be as bad. I just cringe at the thought of him saying well we added our "missing pieces" cause this dips*** isn't worth anything to complete the puzzle! -

Yup thats what was said. They didn't say who offered it but they said a 13 year term around 100 million. Crazy! -
Pierre McGuire has a serious hard on for Crosby and the Penguins. He says Parise is going to go to Pittsbugh, he wouldn't be shocked at all. Gets all excited when he talks about them. Guy is so damn biased. Edit: I really hope he isn't right. If he signs in Pittsburgh just imagine all their fans running their mouths. UGH!

There hasn't been a single team's representatives show up to talk to Paise. He never once used the word eliminated. He cleary and specifically said that Detroit is still very interested and making an offer for him. -

Well considering I didn't know/hear that Parise didn't want to meet face to face is the reason I was pissed. Didn't make sense why Wings and co. wouldn't meet up with him. With that being said then I am not mad seeing as it wasn't the wings choice. -

I am watching the NHL network and they just stated that the Wings aren't flying out to pursue Parise in person, still going to pitch an offer but no face to face! Didn't say why however. That pisses me off. -
