I would offer E and Tatar for Bogosian. Jets are looking for LHD. I like Tatar but Bogosian is Bogosian.

Keep Smith and play him with better player, Q is making Smith really bad. While he was playing with Kronwall he was pretty solid.

Bruins "interests" is just a pure speculation from hf-boards when Seidenberg got injured - that could be the source. What I'm saying that we have a ton of the D prospects but we need a proven top 4 D.

Rich, Do you really thinks that next year Babs is going to play 2-3 (Marchenko/Sproul/Ouellet) rookies on Def? They will be in GR for at least another year (like was the case with Kindl/Smith). Q is gone next season. Kindl should be traded as Babs doesn't like him. Kronwall - E DeKe - X Smith - Marchenko/Ouellet/Sproul Still need a partner for DeKe (true top 4 def).

How you know that Boston is interested in Q? There is no way they are going to trade Morow for Q as he was one of the key players in Seguin trade. Maybe Bartowski or Caron but not JM. I would ask for McQuaid as he's the one who could really improve our D as a stay-at-home D that we are missing (E is not playing that role) and he will add much needed toughness.

Kindl's value is low at this point (he was recently scratched couple of times). Q is a FA at the end of the year so it's not a big deal his salary, Jets are looking for some LDef help. I wouldn't be surprised to see him in LA again.

Girardi is FA so there is no way we should offer Jurco, 1st and +. From your list, I would like to see Bogosian as he could be nice partner for either Kronwall or Deke but I'm against trading Jurco, Nyquist or Mantha. I really like Tatar, but if we can get Bogo for Tatar and 1st I would think twice. Problem with Kenny is that he doesn't want to "overpay" FA's either... his best FA additions were the players who WANTED to play here, Hasek, Hull (Yzerman and Shanny took pay-cut in order to free some salary for Hull), Hossa and Alf. The other FA additions were a complete mess: Whitney, Hatcher, Colo, Sammy, Tootoo... Let's not forget that Kenny offered Nyquist, Smith and a 1st (Mantha) for Edler and the Canucks refused that offer, how about offer that he made to Elias $7M/7years but he decided to stay with Devils...

Kenny offered Nyquist, Smith and a 1st (Mantha) at the 2013 draft but Vancouver wanted to add more and the counter offer was refused. Thanks to Vancouver, their GM made our team better...

Question adressed to Kenny was regarding the Nyquist, why it took 2-3 months to call him up? He responded; this us the men league, kids aren't the answer. I guess that we can agree that Nyquist should have started the season in Detroit...

Why? When asked why Nyquist isn't in the lineup he said that NHL isn't the kids league and that they are not the answer. Why Nyquist was send down and Sammy/Cleary/Bert were playing?!

With the cap going up someone will offer 6M to Moulson and let's not forget that he was very good while playing with Tavares. Moulson will end up WEISS 2.0 so no thanks. I would rather stick with the kids unless you can get Eberle or Simmondsas top 6 forwards. We will still have 3 pretty skilled scoring lines. Our need is top 2 "D".
