Well Kenny gave the 1st rounder for Quincey and you wouldn't for Yandle... wow...Omark can'r crack the Oil lineup for the past 2-3 seasons. So Diaz is/should be next Lids??? Keep playing Nhl EA sports.. .

I guess Kenny should trade for Omark too... he can't crack Oilers lineup but he should play on the 1st line with Z... Btw, Diaz has been used more as a forward than def last couple of seasons... What about Leino, Ritola??? Brunner is exception so far... let's hope he keeps the pace

He was good while playing with Markov, since PK is back he's done nothing. Yes he was very good in Swiss but NHL IS NOT SWISS LEAGUE!!!

Great pick, I just don't see Rangers trading him but he's well above of Yandle and JBO on my list... I would rather have Rundbland than Yandle but there is no way they are going to trade him. Another players who could be interesting are McQuaid or Boychuk, both R shoots, great hitters but McQuaid can drop the gloves and he's younger and cheaper...

To be honest, I like Flip but I think that he will be traded (sacrificed) for a top 4 DEF + we have Jankrok. I think that Helm should stay as a 3rd line center. Bassicaly the one who should stay: Forwards: Dats, Z, Brunner, Tatar, Nyquist, Helm (Eaves and Tootoo for the depth) Def: Kronwall, Smith and Ericsson Flip, Francine, Sammy, Abdelkader, Miller, Mursak, Cleary, Quincey, Carlo, Kindl, White... are all easily replaceable. Nyquist - Dats - Clarkson Clowe - Z - Brunner Tatar - Helm - Eaves/Neil Miller - Abdelkader/Andersson/Emmerton - Tootoo Kronwall - Yandle/JBO Smith - Ericsson Lash - Franson Erskine

Yandle would be our 1st (at worst case 2nd D). Saying that he wouldn't make this team better is absurd.

Interestingly, they both point in the same direction as a couple of other things I heard a while back. The first had the Hawks considering a waiver claim on Wild forward Matt Kassian. The second had the Hawks talking to the Senators (yet again) about Chris Neil. A couple of weeks ago, I heard the Hawks were kicking the tires on then waived Shark forward, Fraser McLaren. So, yeah, there's a common theme here. Size, toughness, and much of that with the gloves off. And before anyone assumes the Hawks are going to help the Senators fill their now huge hole on defense with one of their top 6 defenders, worry not. I am hearing the return for Neil would be a lower line forward—and that the Sens could sign former Hawk (and Sen) Chris Campoli before the weekend is out. What does this mean for the Hawks? It could mean Brandon Bollig is headed back to Rockford, but honestly, that's not what I'm hearing. Rather, there is some concern that Jamal Mayers might not have that much left—a subject of some debate within the organization. As with all rumors, some, all or none of this could happen. Lots of conversations and glances happen in the hotel bar before anyone goes up to a room together. But it does seem the Hawks are serious about adding some size and toughness upfront.

Why should we trade a solid 2nd line center when Dats could easily go home in 2014? It's not very smart move.
