If he plays as a true/elite #1 goalie than pay him if not let him go... again logical move. KH is killing this team

Logical move is to keep Mrazek, cheaper contract, expires next year, younger... there is no single reason to keep Howard (injury prone, older, more expensive and longer contract) over Mrazek...

How you think that we are going to rebuild? Our garbage, Helm, Errorson, LG, Abdelkader, Kronwall, Deke, Howard... ste all signed longterm with the contracts that we can't move... Nielsen will end up as Weiss 2.0... with so many expensive contracts that you can't move you can't start rebuild. We can expect that true rebuild will start in 4-5 years and it will take another 4-5 years To became a playoff contenders. KH focus was/is to keep playoff streak alive... now KH is hurting this team even more than Errorson...

So we knew that we needed top 2 Def (2x), top six center and now we will need to find goalie (since Mrazek is not part of the future). LV will have a better team going into next season... Red Wings needs a changes and it will need to start with KH Unless KH plan is to suck for next 10 seasons....

Trade down till the 7th round and we get all 31 picks of the last round...

I don't get why some complains about Mrazek, on 1st he was pushed by JVR and 2nd was PP goal vs best PP in the league... perfectly executed, issue is more in front of Mrazek.

BTW, McIlarth have more goals (in less games) this season than She...

I don't like this trade... Nice to have big shutdown D but McIlarth is an average AHL'er nothing more and 3rd rounder... well Jurco was traded for 3rd rounder. Scary part is that Vanek was one of the best player this year and we got only 3rd and an average AHL'er... and I would like to have him as a bottom Def if he can skate and play some hockey. "She" needs to get traded right ******* now in order to clean this mess. I would also like to see some longterm contracts traded...
