I can't believe that we still have people blaming everything on 1 man. Mind boggling how much hate you have for someone who doesn't make all the decisions and gets blamed for everything wrong and nothing that's right.

Oh boy this topic/thread isn't going to turn into a turdfest at all will it. I guess folks still don't get he is mostly just a figurehead of the owners and like chunky said above he is probably not even the one wanting/making the changes that some hate so much.

The teams I fear the most are the crappy teams like the Islanders and Montreal. Recently it just seems like the wings have so much trouble with the bottom feeder teams. The team I am going to hate to see all the time is Pittsburgh of course.

Your feelings towards tootoo have not changed since he was on nashville example what was bolded. Did he sucker anyone while playing with the wings so far? so you saying tootoo is pretty much worthless I feel you are not giving him a fair shake and really seeing what he brings and how he could help in games like the chicago series where the wings started to get bullied around because no one wanted to stand up. Tootoo played with a ton of heart every shift out there and if you and others didn't see that I'm not sure what else to say. He went non stop every shift hitting everything trying to score..trying to make plays. I compare him to Helm with his heart of the game. Like a lion. Of course he doesn't have helms skill really but I would take 100 players like that over players like miller,eaves or emmerton. There were a ton of times I didn't even know Miller or Emmerton was even on the ice. When Tootoo is out there everyone on the ice and in the stands knows he is there.

oy gevalt Apparently you are the one confused if you really think Tootoo was signed to be our enforcer. A line of miller,eaves and emmerton strikes more fear than a line with tootoo in it. hahahahahahah Tootoo did what he was suppose to do and like was said did it very well. Why he wasn't used in the playoffs especially after losing 2 in a row after Bickell and Shaw had their way with the wings will be one of life's great mysteries.

And you would know this how? How can you say he would not have any bearing on the outcome....why change something that worked so well right. Yeah I said he was some superman playoff game changer. Lets not pretend that it wouldn't of had any effect either how about that. Some of you must have forgotten how Shaw and Bickell were left untouched when they were skating around having their way with the wings. I'm sorry to burst your bubble cause you sound pretty sure of yourself but physicality with no answer back from the wings had a lot to do with it...not all of it but had a lot. When the hawks turned it on physically and they saw that they could get away with it thats when the tide turned.

nah we will drop tootoo and then once the season starts we will see 100 threads talking about how weak we are and why didn't holland get a tough guy...its all buttmans fault blah blah blah. Not saying Tootoo is the toughest,best fighter in the league but he's better than anything we have and he plays his role perfect. I understand we have to get under the cap and all that and we pretty much have no other option because of sammy. Yeah Tootoo wasn't played in the playoffs which was a mistake against the blackhawks since they were beating us down and having their way physically but hey..losing 3 in a row without changing anything is ok for some I guess.

yeah but wearing a jersey of a team you just left on somewhat bad terms is sort of bad form to me. he could've easily worn something else not related to any team. but I really don't care either way but I can see why some have gotten mad about it. he is a wing and I can't wait to see him play here.

Of course its not uncommon to do so. Ever off season players hold camps/workouts and such that other players from other teams come to, but its the fact that he wore his sens jersey when he is not part of the org anymore. Not that to me is a little weird. Beit I will let it slide this time because I understand his situation but I don't want to see it again=) Maybe he hasn't gotten his wings jersey yet??? hahaha I think it was more along the lines of "right place at the right time"

ohhhhhh...so it was all Quincy that got us past the ducks and almost past the hawks??? You asked me if I only watched the first 10 games...Seems like you weren't even watching Quincy the way you are defending him thinking he was some second coming of Lids. I do agree with kipwinger that he started off really really bad then he did finish strong but that comes with playing time which tootoo didn't get. But Quincy was no savior of this team I tell you that. I have said this whole time Tootoo needs more playing time. Just a curiosity question axe....are you one of those folks that think there shouldn't be hockey in southern states and the fans in those said states know nothing about hockey? Yeah I can agree with this but on the other hand people on here seem to think just because some players were under utilized that they are not worth their pay.

So hold on here.....Quincey with all of his screw ups in the season. Reading through countless posts of people talking about how he was god awful in the game GDT's more so than anyone else is getting paid just right and you are fine with that but think that tootoo with what he brings is getting too much and needs to be traded? The way I seen Q play there is no way he played to a $3+mil contract. We are talking about the 1 goal and 2 assists 3 pts Quincey right?
